Front cover idea's
1) the idea for number 1 seems to spaced and plain, the banner seems to bring a bit of life to draw the audience, but fails to make other subjects of the front cover appeal. The shaping of the pug brings it to a sighting, these are the only parts of the front coverthat may appeal to the audience.
2) This cover seems more exciting to look at, the banner, improves the sighting of the head live, the pug by it's self is quite eye catching. The top part of the cover is more exciting, the bottom part, doesn't seem to being any life to the front cover, it seems bland and plain, which doesn't seem appealing to the audience.
3) This cover seems more exciting, the banner over the mast head seems intriguing and the pug down by it's self is eye catching, the cover line by a header creates a waiting to be known story. The magazine looks appealing, it also leaves enough space for a main image within the center.
4) This magazine looks appealing with a pull quote, but fails to bring in the attention of the audience with a pug. The mast head, cover line and banner all seemed stacked which creates a sense of seriousness.
5) This front cover page doesn't seem to be organised, the cove line by it's self doesn't seem appealing, the banner makes the headline seem appealing, but the mast head is dialed down in a result to it being so close, the pug takes up to much room.

6) This front cover seems neatly stacked and organised, it is spaced appropriately but doesn't draw attention, with a banner being placed by it's self and seems to be the most appealing out of them all, it fails to bring any attention to any other part of the magazine, the cover line does't seem to fit where it could be, but the headline and pug seem in very good appropriate locations on the front cover idea.

Brand identity
1) Create a compelling magazine covers.
The main thing that needs to stand out to the reader is the mast head, by having an appealing masthead, with black on the outside of it, it appeals to the reader, from the mast head the second thing that stands out is the main image, this main image will appeal to the reader determined if they recognize the person that represents there main image. The main image can communicate to the audience if the main image has a personal connection to the reader, this compels them to see what the magazine is about. A main image need to be able to back up its headline as well, the main image can make a headline appealing to the reader.
A design idea that i have is a masthead which has a background picture that supports its name, sound waves, in light blue turning purple, with wavy lines in the background with musical notes on them, this is my idea to use for a music magazine. The main image changes depending on the main story of the week. The layout suggests that it is a music magazine, by the musical notes in the background of the mast head.
2) Focus your content on your target audience.
My magazine will feature interviews with rock stars, pop
stars etc., exclusive information on new songs, it will also show new stories
that the audience, this will be done by
a picture with a rhetorical question, this persuades the audience to read the
article because it has a purpose to make people wonder about the question. The
question makes it catchy and this may appeal to all ages. To cover a wide range
on musical genre's means that the magazine will appeal to a wide range of
readers, this means that the magazine will have to have fair sections of each
genre that it will cover e.g. Rock, Pop, R & B etc. each section of the magazine that features a certain genre
will have different colours to appeal to the audience, these colours will go
with the stereotypical types for example, the Rock part of the Magazine will
have dark colours, such as black, Red, Grey and white. This suits the
stereotypes of Emos and Goths that will read this section of the magazine. The
title will be distorted like the songs. Pop will be a brighter colour that has
more of a happy feeling to it, this will be bright colours like Red, yellow,
white, pink, green etc. this will have a club feeling to them. The colours will
also relate to the most part of where these songs would be played.
3) Chose a graphic design that reflects your magazine purpose.
The point of this creates some colors and image for the
reader to connect with, besides making it look more appealing to the reader it
symbolizes what the magazine could be about. Fireworks is a good site to create
a cover because it lets you cut things out and enhance picture quality. This is
important when making a cover because it looks more professional to the reader
if done correctly. Choose a name that you would like to stick with as your
masthead, use fireworks for example to create loads of different things for
your masthead and cover, there are many other networks that can be used to
create a cover for a magazine. One masthead that I created is:
4) Respond to your changing audience.
My magazine targets wide range of people, this means that my audience for the magazine is big. To make sure that my audience is always intrigued it is important that you respond and write new articles on what the audience want to know about. So having good reporters that get good information, and having good photographers then creating new stories that your target audience is interested in is no problem, you are bound to keep your audience interested. The target audience that my magazine reaches out to are, Goths and Emos, Pop lovers, these people are aged around 13 - 30, it mainly reaches out to a young audience, although the magazine reaches out to a young audience, it is still suitable for older generations to take information away from it. The audience will gain new information such as, contests and prizes, upcoming concerts that they may sponsor, and record signings etc. These exciting things keep an audience intrigued because it gives them something to look forward to.5) Brand beyond the pages.
The magazine company would sponsor certain concerts that would be going on, the point in sponsoring would allow there brand to become expanded, it makes them more well known. The sponsor concerts and contests etc. They may create their own radio show, Kerrang is a good example of a rock company that has created a radio show, capital and heart have also created radio shows, these radio shows are very big due to the songs they play and able to access within a car. The company may also organize a concerts which brings readers in.

Add annotations to any hand drawn design – comment on denotations as
well as connotations. It is important that you explain your design choices.
Try to meet all deadlines – time management is part of the success

Viewers, this blog post will talk about some of the great sites, that are on the internet. Sites on the internet are wonderful, since they can range form loads of different things such as, social media, to obtaining information. One site in particular that appeals to myself is wevideo https://www.wevideo.com/overview. Wevideo is an easy and simple way edit and change your video's . They believe thst everyone has a story to tell and that you should be able to edit your videos to make them look great. As a youtuber myself editing video's helps a lot. It gets rid of moments that people might not want to see, or it might help make certain parts look better. The site helps you in many different ways.
Another site that is wonderful is google https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl. Many people take advantage of google, google is a site that most people use to search for certain projects, It is also used to search for other sites. Google is the biggest search engine in the world. The thing that makes google so useful, s it's advanced knowledge of knowing what you are looking for, or suggesting things that could help. Google makes searching information, or finding another site so much easier. Usually when we click on internet explorer we are greeted with google, or bing and many other search engines. Google as many times in the year where it changes it's title page, because it has so many things to celebrate in it's life.
The third site that I checked out was photobucket http://photobucket.com/ , It's free to sign up to photobucket, By using photobucket you are able to edit, pictures and upload them from photo bucket to blogs etc. It is really simple to use photobucket, it only takes few steps to upload a photo onto the website. Photo bucket is simple, it doesn't awkward security questions, or have misguiding buttons. Photobucket simply allows you to share pictures onine, it gives you more control, where other websites may have control interms of what you can do to your picture. It seems to be a way of backing your photos up online.
