I have changed the colours of my front cover, i have also changed that picture. My first picture was grainy, so I used a better camera which gave me a better quality picture. I changed my mast head an associated with the colour that i used on my contents page (Red). i shortened my anchorage text. The background that I put my masthead on is the same colour has my double page spread, this is so the colour scheme's that i am using stay consistent throughout.
I changed the colours of my contents page to be black and white, the red makes the page number to stand out. I have also created more text and spaced them out sufficiently. This has made everything look more even and appealing. The contents page has been dulled down because it first looked to up beat for a rock magazine, now i have kept to a colour scheme.
On my double page spread i have added a few small boxes. to give additional information, i have enlarged my picture to fit take up some of the empty space on my double page. I have added new questions and answers to the text to make it look even, I have also tried to keep it on the same lines as some other double page spread pictures from Rock magazines such as Kerrang.

Question 4 evaluation answer
The audience for my media product will be mainly teenagers. This is because a music magazine is mostly for teenagers. The genre that i have gone with is Rock, this mainly appeals to Goths and emos. I have used a colour schemes that are quite dull, for example: Black, White, Grey. This is because it is mainly the colours that you will find in a rock magazine. I have also included colors such as Red because, it brings attention to my magazine, and makes it seem more appealing to my target audience.
The colour scheme is appealing to my target audience, because Goths and emos like dark colours such as black and grey, so the colours that i have used stands out to them. Red makes it look more interesting. So the colours that are associated with Goths and emos, i have decided to use them in my magazine front cover.

Improvements
1st and 2nd attempt.

I like the Paramore pictures and the backgrounds on the text which makes it stand out and it starts to look more like a front cover music magazine. It makes it look more professional, also the colour that is used to make the text stands out, means that it will draw the attention of the audience, intriguing them to look into the magazine and contemplate on whether they should buy the magazine or not.

My Contents Page Draft For a Music Magazine.
This is my magazine for my contents page. The page consists of bands and artists, but it lacks the additional information. A contents page shows page numbers, little bits of information, and they also have things like band interviews, concerts and tours. On my contents page this does not display anywhere on the page to look to obtain the page number of where to go, to read about this and find out the information they need if they would like to go to the concerts.
This is the second draft of this contents page.

Content Pages Within a Music Magazine.
1) Things that a music magazine will usually include would be stories of artists that have been interviewed for people to create emotional connections to this artist. They also include things like sponsorship, upcoming bands/Artists], bands and Artists that are going on tour, including the information about where there concert starts and ends, having dates and times of where they will be. They will also mention competitions and concerts that are currently going on. They will have one story that is more important for the readers of the magazine to focus on first. Some music magazines include a advertisement page for other people to use, to promote their product.
2) The contents page in a music magazine, acts as the context for it, it shows people what page they need to look on for a certain story they might want to know about. Pictures are usually included in content pages, and next to the picture, they contain a page number, so the reader knows what page to turn to if they wish to read about the topic. The biggest picture is usually the main image, because it has the main story. Contents pages are created to be colorful and fun because they need to be able to attract the readers, so they can look at the contents page a get a simple guide of which page to turn to and which story they will be able to read. Somethings are made to look more exciting then other because they are seen to be the biggest stories, or what people usually seem to look at the most.

Photo Planning
In the world of rock music, most bands are made up on one type of gender, there is a very few bands that consist of the two different genders (male and female). So i will either need to make a band by asking a group of people ( around 3 or 4) to look like a band. They will dress up in dark rock clothes, they will also have dark make up. or I will ask my friend Gra, who listens to rock music and he has look of a rocker.
Girl band:Their hair will be back brushed, to make it look a bit frizzy, this is also because female rock artists often have large hair styles. Fort shorter haired girls, the hair will be gelled (slicked back, or to the side). These hair styles will be inspired by P!NK.
Boy Band: There air can be gelled and slicked, Most male rock bands have there hair really messy and have fringes that cover most of there face. The band will mainly consists of the hair color brown, brunette and black. This is because the dark colors help reinforce the look of rock band, they also rienforce the colors that would be assoicated with rock.
Solo Artists. A solo artist will need to have a symbolic prop to allow them to appear as someone from the genre of rock. Hair and makeup will represent the type of music genre I am going for. A symbolic prop could be a guitar or base guitar, a musical instrument that would usually be played in a rock band.
A solo artist will be mainly male's because in the genre rock, they are the dominant gender. So most readers will be males. Also the fact of having a male artist on the cover of the magazine, will bring in female readers. It doesn't matter what type of music genre a girl is into, but they will have celebrity crush on a male artist.
The photo will be taken against a yellow wall, the brightness of the yellow contrasts and challenges the dark colour of rock, but the Colour of the guitar matches the yellow wall, so it is able to link in with the genre. Also the prop brings out the colour most, it also takes most of the attention, because the prop is significant.
